SINGLISH TRANSCRIPTION

In Singapore, the spoken language in audio files is often Singlish or "Singdarin" (Singaporean Mandarin), which means that conversations are peppered with local expressions in English, Mandarin, Malay, various Chinese dialects, such as Hokkien and/or Cantonese, and Tamil.

This requires the attention of professional Singaporean transcribers who understand the terms and context of Singaporean lingo. Working with a Singlish transcriber saves you the inconvenience of extensive edits further down the road.

Depending on what the transcript is used for, the transcript can be delivered as a Verbatim Singlish transcript or audio translated from Singlish into English.
